Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Unit Head – Life Insurance Operations & Sales to lead a team of insurance professionals while overseeing daily sales operations and business development activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing team performance, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Life Insurance Advisors and Sales Associates.
• Drive achievement of individual and team sales targets through effective planning and execution.
• Oversee daily insurance operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of applications, policy servicing, and client requests.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new team members to support business growth.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and sales meetings.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration and client acquisition.
• Monitor key performance metrics and prepare sales and operational reports.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, insurance regulations, and industry standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Management, or related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in Life Insurance, Financial Services, Banking, or related industries.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or team management experience.
• Strong background in sales management, business development, and client relationship management.
• Knowledge of life insurance products, underwriting processes, and policy servicing is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and presentation skills.
