Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented HR Generalist to support the day-to-day HR operations of our construction and real estate business. The ideal candidate will play a key role in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance while partnering closely with project teams, site personnel, and department heads to support organizational growth and workforce effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for office-based and project/site-based roles
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and employee deployment requirements
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, disciplinary cases, and conflict resolution
- Support performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies
- Monitor attendance, timekeeping, leave administration, and payroll coordination
- Assist in compensation and benefits administration, including government-mandated benefits
- Coordinate training, safety seminars, and employee development programs
- Partner with department heads and project managers on manpower planning and workforce requirements
- Prepare HR reports, documentation, and employee movement records
- Ensure HR practices align with operational needs in a fast-paced construction and real estate environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in HR generalist functions
- Experience in the construction, engineering, property development, or real estate industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices
- Experience handling both corporate and site-based employees is an advantage
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting multiple projects or business units
- Background in employee engagement, recruitment, and performance management
- Familiarity with payroll coordination and government compliance requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong stakeholder management and people-handling skills
