About the Role
A leading organization in a highly regulated industry is seeking a Commercial Business Executive to lead enterprise-wide commercial strategy and consumer business growth. This executive will be responsible for driving revenue, customer acquisition, market expansion, channel performance, and overall commercial excellence across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial leader with a proven track record of leading large-scale consumer businesses, delivering sustainable growth, and driving transformation in highly competitive and regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability objectives.
- Lead the organization's consumer commercial operations, including sales, distribution, channel management, and go-to-market execution.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value through strategic commercial initiatives.
- Identify new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and growth initiatives to strengthen the company's market position.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, Finance, and Operations to deliver integrated commercial strategies.
- Oversee sales planning, forecasting, performance management, and commercial analytics to ensure business targets are achieved.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to inform strategic business decisions.
- Lead organizational transformation initiatives that improve commercial effectiveness, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
- Build, coach, and develop high-performing leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Present business performance, growth strategies, and commercial recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or postgraduate degree is an advantage.
- At least 15 years of progressive commercial leadership experience, with a minimum of 8 years in senior executive or leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading large-scale commercial or consumer business operations within telecommunications, technology, digital services, FMCG, banking, retail, or other consumer-focused industries.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, channel expansion, and commercial transformation.
- Strong understanding of sales strategy, commercial operations, marketing, customer lifecycle management, and business development.
- Experience managing nationwide commercial organizations and cross-functional executive teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, financial acumen, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication abilities.
