Role Overview
Our leading partner is seeking an experienced AEM Developer to design, build, and optimize enterprise grade digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager. This role combines full-stack AEM development with emerging AI-driven capabilities, enabling intelligent content delivery, automation, and enhanced customer engagement. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in AEM development, modern web technologies, and a forward-looking mindset toward AI-powered platforms within the Adobe ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
AEM Development & Implementation

  • Develop and configure scalable web content management solutions using Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Build reusable templates, components, dialogs, and workflows aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Customize AEM workflows and integrate with enterprise systems and APIs.
  • Package, deploy, and manage AEM content and configurations across environments.

AI & Adobe Platform Innovation

  • Implement AI-driven capabilities using Adobe Experience Platform tools for advanced decision-making and workflow automation.
  • Apply optimization strategies to improve content discoverability in AI-generated search experiences.
  • Contribute to initiatives leveraging AI-powered tools such as Adobe Firefly.

Requirements Gathering & Solutioning

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
  • Provide effort estimates, technical consultation, and scalable solution designs.

Troubleshooting & Support

  • Diagnose and resolve functional and technical issues within AEM environments.
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and adherence to development standards.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with IT, operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
  • Follow ADM practices including incident management, enhancements, and service requests.
  • Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies to improve delivery efficiency and quality.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to architecture and design.
  • Promote innovation and customer-centric solutions within the development lifecycle.


Technical Skills
Frontend

  • HTML5, CSS3, LESS, SASS, Handlebars
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Angular)
  • AEM technologies: HTL (Sightly), XML, components, templates, dialogs, and policies

Backend

  • Java / J2EE, JSP, Spring Framework
  • Apache Sling, OSGi, Maven, Eclipse
  • RESTful web services and enterprise integrations
  • Unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit)

AEM & Adobe Ecosystem

  • Hands-on experience with AEM (versions 6.4 / 6.5 preferred)
  • Workflow customization and dispatcher configuration
  • Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager
  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, and Adobe Forms


Preferred Experience

  • Experience implementing AI-driven orchestration using Adobe Experience Platform
  • Understanding of SEO strategies tailored for AI-generated search and content discovery
  • Exposure to generative AI tools within the Adobe ecosystem
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale digital transformation projects


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in AEM or related web content management development
  • Proven track record delivering scalable, high-performance web solutions
