Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior S2P (Source-to-Pay) Solutions Architect to support Source-to-Pay transformation initiatives within a global procurement environment.

This role focuses on leveraging AI and automation to improve procurement processes, enhance system efficiency, and enable intelligent workflows within enterprise procurement platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, procurement teams, and technology partners to design, configure, and optimize Source-to-Pay solutions, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven capabilities and Coupa platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior S2P (Source-to-Pay) Solutions Architect will act as a process improvement expert for AI within the Source-to-Pay function, identifying opportunities to enhance procurement workflows through automation, AI agents, and intelligent process integration. The role involves evaluating process inefficiencies and designing solutions that improve end-to-end procurement performance.

The position requires collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including procurement teams, IT, and AI working groups, to enable AI capabilities within procurement platforms such as Coupa. This includes supporting the configuration and enhancement of modules related to procurement, sourcing, supplier management, contracts, and risk management in alignment with business requirements.

The role involves working with AI and generative AI concepts to support the development and deployment of intelligent agents and automation features within procurement systems. The candidate will also coordinate with platform support teams to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful implementation of system enhancements.

In addition, the Senior S2P (Source-to-Pay) Solutions Architect will support release management activities by reviewing system updates, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and validating new features. The role includes leading testing efforts for new configurations, supporting defect tracking, and ensuring issues are resolved in a timely and structured manner.

The successful candidate will maintain documentation of system configurations, implementation timelines, and process changes, while ensuring alignment with governance standards. The role also involves engaging with vendor communities and platform support forums to track enhancements and stay updated on new capabilities.

The Senior S2P (Source-to-Pay) Solutions Architect will also mentor team members, share knowledge on AI and procurement technologies, and contribute to capability building within the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years of overall IT experience, with strong functional knowledge in procurement processes including sourcing, supplier management, contracts, and accounts payable. A minimum of 3+ years of experience working with AI or generative AI solutions, including automation or orchestration tools, is required.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa or similar Source-to-Pay systems, including configuration, enhancement, and support of procurement modules. Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and generative AI concepts is essential, particularly in the context of enterprise procurement applications.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and experience working in cross-functional environments. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to work in a structured, governance-driven environment.

A strong interest in emerging AI technologies and procurement innovation is essential, along with the ability to apply ethical judgment, confidentiality, and sound decision-making in AI-related implementations.
