The Procurement Specialist will manage the end-to-end procurement process and ensure the timely, cost-effective, and efficient acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for company operations and projects. The role works closely with Engineering, Project Management, Warehouse, and Finance teams to support project execution while maintaining quality, supplier performance, and cost competitiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including sourcing, quotation requests, supplier evaluation, purchase order processing, and delivery coordination.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support project schedules and operational requirements.
  • Monitor purchase orders and supplier commitments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Source, evaluate, and accredit suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and recommend improvements.
  • Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure the best value for the organization.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial agreements within approved procurement policies.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Project teams to monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement requirements.
  • Assist in inventory planning and procurement forecasting.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement records, purchase orders, supplier contracts, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and internal controls.
  • Support audit requirements by maintaining complete and accurate procurement documentation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Warehouse, Finance, and Logistics teams to support project execution.
  • Resolve procurement-related issues that may impact project timelines or operational efficiency.
  • Provide regular procurement status updates and reports to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 2–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
  • Experience in engineering, construction, renewable energy, electrical, manufacturing, or industrial industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
  • Experience using ERP or procurement management systems is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
