Role Overview
The Brand Lead is responsible for managing and growing a specific product category by driving sales, optimizing assortment, and executing category strategies. This role ensures the category meets revenue, profitability, and market share targets through data-driven decisions and strong supplier partnerships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the Squad: Develop and mentor a high-performing team of brand managers and store operators, ensuring they have the tools and coaching to hit aggressive business objectives.
- GTM Excellence: Define and execute end-to-end Go-to-Market strategies, acting as the bridge between Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service.
2. Commercial & Partnership Mastery
- High-Stakes Negotiation: Manage annual agreements and Joint Business Plans (JBP) with e-commerce partners to ensure the brand stays ahead of the curve.
- Stakeholder Influence: Build deep, long-term relationships with brand principals and key stakeholders at TikTok, Shopee, and Lazada.
3. Performance & Market Intelligence
- Data-Driven Growth: Analyze brand performance and consumer behavior to pinpoint exactly where to double down and what needs fixing.
- Stay Ahead: Monitor market trends and competitor moves, translating those insights into proactive action plans before the rest of the market catches on.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in commercial or category management within e-commerce (FMCG experience is a major plus).
The Leader: You’ve led teams before and know how to push for excellence while keeping morale high. You move fast and communicate with clarity.
The Strategist: You understand the SEA e-commerce landscape operationally, not just theoretically. You know how to navigate CPAS, SEO, and the nuances of livestreaming.
The Analytical Thinker: You are comfortable in the data. You don’t just report numbers; you tell the story behind them and use them to move the needle.
The Operator: You have a solid grasp of supply chain, inventory management, and the nitty gritty of e-commerce that actually make.
