Job Summary

The Business Development Head is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and leading strategic partnerships within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and developing go-to-market strategies aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of business growth strategies across pharmaceutical or FMCG channels
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders
  • Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry research to identify growth opportunities
  • Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of revenue targets and KPIs
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to align business strategies
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, and partnerships
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and business plans
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
  • Strong network within distributors, key accounts, or healthcare/retail channels is an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth and market expansion
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
