Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Legal Operations and Paralegal team.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex or high-risk legal and operational issues.
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based Legal teams to align priorities, service expectations, and quality standards.
  • Execute legal operations strategies with a focus on process improvement, technology, and reporting.
  • Monitor team performance through KPIs, SLAs, and dashboards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee work intake, workflow management, and prioritization to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Provide hands-on support by stepping into operational or paralegal work when needed.
  • Support and expand paralegal service capabilities for both local and U.S.-based Legal teams.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects, including cost-saving initiatives and system implementations.
  • Complete at least 12 hours of continuing legal or professional education annually.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of direct experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or corporate/shared services environment.
  • Experience leading teams or serving in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
