Finance Business Partner Director (Retail / FMCG)

Role Overview

The Finance Business Partner Director is responsible for leading financial planning, business performance management, forecasting, and strategic finance support across the organization. The role works closely with commercial and operational leaders to drive profitability, improve business performance, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance analysis
• Partner with business leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Analyze financial results, KPIs, and business trends to identify risks and opportunities
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial performance initiatives
• Drive process improvements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial controls, and reporting standards
• Support leadership in developing growth and profitability strategies
• Prepare and present financial insights and recommendations to senior management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, commercial, supply chain, and procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or related field
• CPA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in finance, commercial finance, FP&A, or business finance leadership
• Experience in retail, FMCG, consumer, or high-volume operational environments preferred
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering capabilities
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Experience in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives
