RTR Accountant (Global Shared Services)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical RTR (Record-to-Report) Accountant to join our Global Shared Services team. The role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background and experience working in a shared services or multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
• Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
• Coordinate with cross-functional and global teams for financial reporting requirements
• Maintain and improve RTR processes and internal controls
• Assist in implementing process improvements and automation initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA license preferred but not required
• At least 2–4 years of experience in Record-to-Report, General Ledger, or similar accounting roles
• Experience in a shared services or multinational company is an advantage
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with process migration or transitions in shared services
• Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
• Continuous improvement mindset and ability to streamline processes
