Job Summary
The Audit Staff will support the company’s audit activities by conducting financial, operational, and compliance reviews, evaluating transactions and processes, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. The role will work with various departments to gather audit evidence, identify discrepancies and control gaps, and provide recommendations to improve business processes and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting financial, operational, and compliance audit engagements.
  • Review financial records, transactions, supporting documents, and account schedules for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform audit testing and verification of company processes and controls.
  • Examine compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and supporting documentation.
  • Identify discrepancies, control weaknesses, and process gaps and communicate findings to the Audit team.
  • Assist in preparing audit reports and recommendations for management.
  • Conduct follow-up reviews to monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Participate in inventory counts, cash counts, and other audit-related activities as needed.
  • Assist in special audits, investigations, and other reviews requested by management.
  • Coordinate with different departments to obtain necessary documents and information for audit activities.
  • Perform other duties and audit-related assignments as may be required.
Qualifications
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of audit experience, preferably with exposure to internal audit.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, audit procedures, and internal controls.
  • Experience in audit testing, working paper preparation, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments.
  • Experience in the production, entertainment, media, events, or related industries is an advantage.
